The Climate Registry is a nonprofit partnership developing an accurate, complete, consistent and transparent greenhouse gas emissions measurement protocol that is capable of supporting voluntary and mandatory greenhouse gas emission reporting policies for its Members and Reporters. It will provide a verified set of greenhouse gas emissions data from its Reporters supported by a robust accounting and verification infrastructure.

The Climate Registry Information System (CRIS) Launches

The Registry is pleased to announce that its online GHG calculation, reporting, and verification tool is now available for Reporters to use. The Registry will begin offering CRIS training sessions to help orient Reporters to the CRIS in late July. Please see our calendar for announcements regarding upcoming trainings.

Draft Local Government Operations Protocol Released

The California Air Resources Board (CARB), California Climate Action Registry (CCAR), and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI) in collaboration with The Climate Registry have released their Draft Local Government Operations Protocol. Public comments are due July 18th.
