However\, public investments in international and domestic agricultural research have stagnated in recent years. AGES\, including Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS) and Closed-Loop Geothermal Systems (CLGS)\, are generating enthusiasm for their potential to revolutionize clean energy. These systems aim to overcome the geographic limitations of conventional geothermal\, which relies on naturally occurring reservoirs near the Earth’s surface of heat\, fluid\, and permeable rock. \n\n\n\nAGES are a perfect complement to solar and wind resources and may be the replacement for natural gas as utilities search for baseload power driven by data center development. He is currently participating in the Bay Area Clean Water Agencies Permit Committee and Air Committee as well as the Water Research Foundation Planning Summit on Addressing GHGs.
