Board of Directors
TCR’s Board of Directors is comprised of some of the top thought leaders on climate from a range of sectors. It provides strategic oversight and helps TCR make consistent progress toward our mission.
TCR was founded by North American states, provinces and territories, with jurisdictional representatives serving on our Board of Directors for over a decade. In 2021, TCR introduced an innovative governance structure that will enable us to drive more climate ambition and action in North America. TCR established a smaller independent board and transitioned the jurisdictional representatives onto the Council of Jurisdictions.
The council serves as an advisory body and ensures that TCR continues as a powerful bipartisan platform for showcasing and supporting sub-national climate leadership.
