Overview
On September 22nd, The Climate Registry hosted its second-annual California Climate Leadership Forum during Climate Week NYC. We are grateful to all of the state and elected officials, speakers, moderators, sponsors, and participants who made the forum so inspiring and impactful.
In our current moment, we need a refreshed paradigm for climate action — one in which decarbonization is inextricable from job growth, affordability, and community resilience. The conversations leaned into that paradigm and explored new solutions and partnerships for everything from investment and policy to clean energy and transportation.
The standing-room-only crowd and level of energy throughout the afternoon suggest that the Golden State is just getting started when it comes to climate leadership. We look forward to continuing these conversations — and accelerating action — at COP30 and beyond.
