Dan Krekelberg has 13 years of experience leading the development of plans, programs, and policies aimed at improving the sustainability of communities and organizations. His experience includes consulting with public and private organizations on GHG mitigation, climate resilience, and energy planning at the federal, state, and local levels.

As Policy Director at TCR Dan serves as part of a management team overseeing TCR’s voluntary greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting and verification programs, accounting and verification guidance, and the Climate Registry Information System (CRIS) platform. In this role, Dan ensures that TCR’s registries reflect evolving best practices and that TCR members, participants, and verification partners are well served. In addition, Dan leads a team of staff and coordinates with external partners to advance GHG reduction initiatives.
