OUR STORY

The Climate Registry was established in 2007 to expand on the work of the California Climate Action Registry (CCAR). Recognizing that climate change is a global issue — and that consistent GHG data is a critical building block for carbon policy and reductions – a number of U.S. states and Canadian provinces and territories created TCR.

The Climate Registry’s vision is to make global warming history.

Mission

The Climate Registry connects, educates, and empowers organizations with the resources to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to mitigate climate change.
