The Truckee Donner Public Utility District is located along the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, just north of Lake Tahoe and provides public water and power service to approximately 14,000 residential and commercial customers. The District’s water utility provides high quality potable groundwater pumped from the local aquifer within the Martis Valley Groundwater Basin. The District is a transmission dependent electric utility under an Open Access Transmission Tarrif (OATT) with NV Energy.
