Net-Zero Policy Coordinator
As a Net-Zero Policy Coordinator, Elsie Andreyev promotes The Climate Registry’s Net-Zero Portal by building relationships with organizations that have net-zero and carbon neutrality pledges and highlighting the benefits of publicly disclosing emissions reduction pledges. She is responsible for conducting research and advisory on policies and reporting frameworks that support net-zero emissions and tracking emerging trends in carbon accounting that allow for compliance with net-zero targets.
Prior to joining TCR, Elsie worked at a nonprofit organization where she researched the impact of healthy housing interventions, built data collection infrastructure, and created program evaluation frameworks.
Elsie received her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley where she specialized in Global Environmental Politics and Food Systems. During her studies, she became a subject matter expert on the 2010 BP Oil Spill and subsequent chemical dispersant disaster.
