Mebus has worked in environmental policy and sustainability for over 10 years. After graduating from USC she joined the Schwarzenegger Institute for State and Global Policy to work on advancing bipartisan environmental policy initiatives. During her time as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Climate Work at the Institute she worked with Governor Schwarzenegger to influence public policy and public debate with evidence-based solutions to some of the most pressing environmental challenges that we face today. She has continued her climate and sustainability work with companies such as AltaSea, Seventh Generation Advisors and Catalytic Finance Foundation, and ThirdAct/The Climate Salon, to name a few. As Carbon Disclosure Project Director, Mebus leads the TCR team in managing the Carbon Disclosure Project and furthers strategic efforts to position TCR competitively within the GHG reporting space. In addition, Mebus develops and plays an integral role in leading internal planning, coordinating with external stakeholders, and driving the successful completion of projects.
