Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) provides water and wastewater services to parts of New Hanover County in southeastern North Carolina. CFPUA is a public entity administered by an 11-member board that includes elected officials from the Wilmington City Council and the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners. Our mission is to provide high-quality customer service and utilize business practices that promote sustainability. As the region’s largest water utility, we strive to operate as stewards of the unique coastal environment that defines our service area.
